    Our philosophy is simple: to share our passion for hand-made cheeses with as many people as possible. To that end, we have about 40 cheeses from all over the world on our list every day.
    The choices range from the familiar to the obscure; from mild to strong (and on to super, duper, crazy, stinky); from fresh to washed to blue. And because not every cheese goes with quince paste we take pains to pair each cheese with its perfect house-made condiment.
    It doesn’t stop with cheese, though. Our menu of shareable dishes will satisfy any palate. And with over 100 wines on our list, many of them unusual varietals from obscure regions, your geeking out doesn’t need to be limited to the cheese.

    Opened in October 2007 in the heart of New York City’s West Village, dell’anima means “of the soul” in Italian and features hearty, eloquent dishes of thoughtful simplicity. Our menu offerings change daily and we use local, seasonal, and sustainably harvested produce where possible.

    Executive Chef Andrew Whitney’s menu features a selection of pastas made fresh in house every day, traditional dishes rarely found outside of Italy, and his own Italian-inspired creations.

    Our wine list features an array of small production, high-quality selections with an emphasis on traditional and natural winemaking. Over 150 hand-chosen wines are selected for flavor, uniqueness and tradition. Every bottle is kept in our temperature-controlled cellar and expertly poured into hand-blown crystal glasses from Milan.

    dell’anima can accommodate up to 50 guests, and six lucky people may sit at the Chef’s Counter, which provides a commanding view of the open kitchen. Bar seats are available for walk-ins, where you can enjoy a glass of wine, a cocktail, or eat a whole meal. The Chef’s Counter may be reserved by phone or in person for groups of up to six people.

    El Quinto Pino is a multiregional Spanish tapas bar from chefs and owners Alex Raij and Eder Montero. Big ideas in small food are born here every day. Our menu is rooted in tradition, but features a unique take on classic dishes and an off the beaten path wine list. Above all, we are inspired by the tapas tradition and its ability to bring people together.

    El Comedor is the newer dining room at El Quinto Pino, located directly behind the original bar. As in Spain, you can enjoy a seated snack or meal directly behind your favorite tapas bar. El Comedor was once a residential apartment and it remains so in many ways. Furnished with midcentury, custom, and vintage furniture, El Comedor is a comfortable oasis for small and large groups who prefer to sit or reserve a table in advance.

    Opened in December 2008, L’Artusi is named for Pellegrino Artusi, (1820-1911) and his self-published cookbook La Scienza in Cucina e L’Arte di Mangiare Bene (The Science of Cookery and the Art of Eating Well). L’Artusi presents a modern take on traditional Italian cuisine, combining comfort and creativity.

    Our wine program features a mostly Italian wine list, presented by region with a map of DOCs and DOCGs accompanied by traditional local dishes, helping to demystify Italy, the most diverse viticultural nation in the world.

    Our 110 seat restaurant, features two floors of comfortable banquette seating, extended traditional bar, cheese bar and a chef’s counter overlooking the open kitchen. Private dining opportunities are also available in our 2500 bottle walk-in wine cellar.

    We’ve been selling cheese at our Bleecker Street flagship store since 1940, and in 2012 the team behind Murray’s Cheese decided we needed a place to host our friends and neighbors for cheesy brunches, dinners and spirited celebrations. Murray’s Cheese Bar was born, and so was a world of fine cheeses made locally and abroad, selected and arranged by expert mongers or cooked into divine dishes by our seasoned chefs.

    We love cheese, but our menu also features seasonal specials, high-quality meat and produce and fantastic happy hour specials during the week.     We opened in May of 2010. The name is a reference to the clay vessels (Amphorae) used to store and transport wine in ancient Greece and Rome. There is a resurgence of anfora aging among some winemakers, and the list features great examples of these wines.
